Unfortunately, the reality fell short. While the bed was quite nice and the air conditioning did its job, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. Housekeeping seemed a challenge; The sheets were stained, and the common areas lacked that welcoming touch. It was concerning to find ants making themselves at home, and I wouldn’t have felt comfortable calling it a hotel in the truest sense. The reception staff were kind and helpful, which was a silver lining amidst the chaos. The district outside felt overwhelming—noisy and messy, with a small window in the room looking out at a grey wall. There’s free parking available, which is a plus if you’re driving, but the dismal surroundings might make you hesitate. In terms of value, I’d advise fellow travelers to consider their options carefully; This isn’t the luxurious escape the pictures suggest. A bit more research could spare you from a rather poignant travel experience.
